Don’t let difficult times make you forget your blessings.

Even if 2020 did not prove to be a banner year, the opportunity to count one’s blessings facilitates the ability to live with gratitude.

We have weathered numerous crises: political, financial and medical, and yet we are still standing strong, ready to face whatever the future will bring with all the strength, ingenuity,  intelligence and compassion that we can muster.

None of this makes up for the countless losses and disappointments and tragedies that have ensued.

But in the words of one of the great sages of our time:

You can’t always get what you want

But if you try sometime you just might find

You get what you need.

Stay safe over this holiday. Protect your loved ones by visiting with them over camera.

And recognize that perhaps there are deeper blessings that come out of circumstances, we just have to look a little harder for them❤️
