You can accomplish anything you set your mind to accomplishing.
Do you believe that you can accomplish anything that you set your mind to accomplishing?
This simple concept is the cornerstone of so many of the most amazing chapters of humanity.
There are literally millions of examples in which something that was perceived impossible, was accomplished by someone who did not believe what they were told.
How is it that some people are more willing than others to attempt things that have never been accomplished before? Is it purely bravado? Or is there a deeper current of thought?
The art of taking on things that have never been done, is a delicate balance of surveying everything that has transpired prior, evaluating what worked, and what did not up until that point, and then focusing your sights on the piece of the puzzle that enables you to believe there is a solution that you will be able to uncover and prove to be true.
Is this strictly self delusion? I do not believe this to be the case.
I think there’s a much deeper component to the equation, which is a devout belief in oneself above and beyond, any pre-described parameters that would potentially constrain you from getting to that stage of accomplishment.
When we are transfixed by our goal, so many larger pieces of the puzzle rise and present themselves to us as stepping stones across the impossible chasm we are hoping to traverse.
In these small beliefs, we inevitably chip away at the potential issues that arise in our journey, and deliver us to the plateau from which to make our next move. Edward Teller said this best, “When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it’s time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: Either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly.”
Once you have the faith in yourself, and you are steadfast in your unflinching commitment to accomplishing something of that magnitude, everything else is just one more step on the road to your success.
If you have a deep set belief that you can accomplish something, then, you most unquestionably will.
Happy Tuesday!
