Every day of my life I’m trying to find a different way to get better.
Are you better today than you were yesterday? And if not, why not?
Given that we only have a limited number of trips around the sun, wouldn’t it make good sense to spend each of them, finding ways to make our own lives better, more successful, more fulfilling, more enjoyable?
There are countless ways to improve yourself, it only takes the desire and the awareness of this opportunity, in order to build this thought process into your daily regimen.
It only requires the internal awareness to spot qualities and characteristics about ourselves that could be better than they are currently, combined with an internal focus and dedication to working on any one of these permutations a little bit, every single day, until we are able to look at ourselves and see with clarity, how much further down a particular path we have come.
When we are myopically focused on continuously dealing with only the circumstances at hand, it is very likely that we might be willing to allow moments that are to be dedicated to our own growth, to slip through the cracks.
Once you have made the first step towards any kind of improvement, be it physical, mental, emotional, professional, or otherwise, we have created a benchmark from which we may continuously judge all future progress, in order that we might be that much more motivated on a daily basis to move the notch 1° further in the positive direction.
I believe that in our making a concerted effort to do something like this, we are that much more mentally and emotionally satisfied with ourselves, and this internal self-appreciation only further supports any additional improvements, we might opt to implement on a go forward basis,
