One day you’ll look back and realize you worried way too much about things that didn’t matter.
How many of the little things that you worry about, truly did not warrant your focus or your attention?
We are all so myopically lost in the myriad variables of our daily lives, as to obfuscate our larger perspective, which brings us a more comprehensive view of the sum total of details that truly matter in our lives.
As we grow older, and reflect back on some of the moments that stressed us out in years gone by, we can see with clarity how and why our expenditure of energy stressing out over these details was ultimately fruitless, and did not warrant our focus, nor our attention.
Learning this perspective from our reflections on the past, should potentially empower us to be that much more guarded about our leveraging valuable time in the present maintaining any degree of angst over things in the past, or concerns for the future, that could potentially devalue any energy spent in the present.
Recognizing that time is unquestionably our most valuable commodity, empowers us to create ever greater resources in our lives to diligently process information that would previously have stressed us out, and instead, fortify ourselves against the emotions that arise from anticipated stress, and compartmentalize them into a category of issues to be dealt with, when the time arises.
Our opportunity to live our lives more completely, grows exponentially with each, and every opportunity we leverage to diminish our frustrations and concerns, and replace them with happiness and internal tranquility.
It is only through our self control and our perseverance of pursuing these principles that we are ever able to live an increasingly satisfied life.
The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.
You must enjoy every moment you have, because in life there are no rewinds, only flashbacks. Make sure it is all worth it.
Happy Monday!
