What you are looking for is not out there. It is in you.
What if you have always had the power inside of you, but you didn’t believe it?
From as early as the Greek and Roman myths through the Wizard of Oz and Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, to contemporary literature, for thousands of years, authors have been teaching us that the power is within, and yet, the majority of people do not grasp the concept, and most certainly do not leverage it to their greater benefit when required.
Why do you suppose that is?
If there is a devout belief system that some form of supreme being is the repository of your dreams and benefactor of your life experiences, is it possible that you might be less focused on trying to make your own destiny come to fruition?
If you were to believe that it is solely up to a supreme being to make your desired outcomes come to fruition, would you be more motivated to dig deep within to find the answers or would you be searching externally for an answer to your prayers?
None of what I am stating is in contradiction to scriptures, which basically state that God only helps those who help themselves.
Given that even in a devout belief system, there is still a strong expectation that the individual must take an active role in their destiny, when we are channeling the powers of the universe or marshaling our own internal strengths and capabilities, we are collectively leveraging all of the resources that we believe are possible, to accentuate or better our current set of circumstances.
Each of these are cause for our internal growth, and give way to strengthening the internal resolve that carries us through the toughest moments in life.
When we are capable of awakening to the greater resource that we have internally, our power grows exponentially, for our understanding of how to tap into that power is awakened…. no different than Dorothy, clicking her heels together, and wishing that she were home.
Happy Monday!
