Everything is more complicated than you think it is right now, and the only way that you come to know that is through experience. And that’s what this whole process of growing up is all about.
BARBARA HALL
Do you think you have everything in life already figured out?
As you have matured in your life, have you been studying trends, looking at projections of the future, calculating the multiple permutations that could be possible as specific events do, or do not come to fruition?
In the course of continuously working to stay current with where society and global evolutions are taking us, are you certain that your projections are accurate? And if so, what is the basis for your certainty?
The reality is that very few things in life are certain. We can say with almost 100% degree of certainty that the Earth will continue to spin on its axis, and that the sun and the moon will continue in their relationships with planet earth for many centuries to come.
As we go slightly myopic on that certainty, we can start to find permutations that give way to unforeseen variables, such as the solar storms on the sun, or the degree of axis of planet earth, or the exact details of the orbit of the moon.
With every one of these, the closer we look, the closer we recognize the permutations hidden within.
Understanding all of this, and enabling ourselves to continue to evolve our life perspective predicated upon what we believe we are seeing and calculating, is an integral component of our maturation process, but only when we are able to grasp that freedom comes with being at ease with a certainty of uncertainty.
Do we finally get to some sort of a comfortable stasis in which we can leverage our greatest strengths and utilize them to our best advantage going forward?
Part of the experience of growing up teaches us to become ever more aware that some of our forecasts and prognostications will unquestionably come to fruition, whereas others may not, or may evolve as our lives, and details change.
When we are fully aware of our position in this reality experience we may then continue to formulate our overall perspective of what this journey as a human being in a 3 Dimensional world, ultimately means to us.
We will never have all of the answers. As well it should be.
For seeking the answers to the problems whose resolutions we require and pursuing all of the areas of interest that capture our imagination, is the basis for a fulfilled life.
And that’s what growing up is truly all about.
Happy end of 2023!
Wishing you all a very happy New Year!
