Doing the right thing doesn’t automatically bring success. But compromising ethics almost always leads to failure.

Doing the right thing doesn’t automatically bring success. But compromising ethics almost always leads to failure.

When was the last time that you did the right thing, but circumstances did not resolve in your favor?

We are conditioned through proper parenting, society, exposure, and even reading appropriate memes, that we are far better served learning ethics and insuring that we are on the correct side of the decisions that we are making.

We are continuously hoping and praying that in our determination to stay on the right side of karmic justice, that we will be sufficiently rewarded for our behaviors through the continuous stream of events that transpire as a direct result of our actions.

Sadly, we grow to discover that despite our having done what is presumably the correct thing, we are still not always as likely to prevail as we might have initially projected.

This revelation may have the propensity to sway our internal compass, especially when we witness some who have clearly decided to not abide by the same moral principles as we, ourselves, ascribe to.

In those moments of doubt and conflict, we might be tempted to err on the side of acting against our internal barometer for ethics and behave in a manner that might ultimately deliver us to a presumed reward for our having made such a choice.

Karmic energy being what it is, it does not take long for the negative repercussions of such an inappropriate action to ultimately catch up with us, and deliver us the karmic repercussions of such a choice.

If we are aware of those levels of potential penalty awaiting such an inappropriate decision, we become all the more respectful of these unseen forces, and instead deny ourselves a potential short term gratification in favor of literally just doing the right thing.

If you have not witnessed any of this behavior in your own world, you might ultimately awaken to the stark reality of its existence and ultimately decide that there are better solutions for you than those which are so readily opportune for a short term game.

We have choices in life and our attitude is the only real string we have to play upon, so when given any opportunity, I believe it is far wiser for us to acknowledge, and understand, the larger rules of the game, so that we make informed choices and act wisely.

You may not always find initial success in your path in life, but I firmly believe that this mindset is the correct path to arriving there, and if you are diligent, you will arrive with a clean karmic balance.

Happy Sunday!
