What are the odds of us ever achieving peace on planet earth?

With the continuous trillions of dollars in profits that are consistently generated, year over year, in producing machineries of war, how is it possible that global peace may ever have a chance?

When we are evaluating the opportunity and projecting any possibility we might hold for global peace, we are continuously thwarted by the profitability of war (from the victor’s perspective), as well as from those nation states who sit on the side line and export weapons of death and destruction, to continuously fuel the fire between whomever is enduring a conflict.

When there are billions of dollars at stake, our continuous effort to maintain peace, while simultaneously exporting the weapons of war, could not be more in a direct conflict with themselves, than they are now.

Further, as we continue to ramp up our capabilities, our presumed enemies are doing same…part for their own needs and perspectives, but also in part, a method of self-defense against anything that we, ourselves, might be ready to wield against them.

Can you imagine for a moment what could possibly happen to the world if suddenly, there were no more cause for war?

What would happen if the trillions of dollars that were expended on these pursuits, were instead allocated to create a consistent and sustainable healthy life for all the citizens of planet earth?

If we were truly a nation that was dedicated to these causes, would it ever be possible for us to help pave the pathway for countless other nation states to join us in such a noble venture?

People who are healthy and happy are less likely to have a majority of the conflict that humanity is continually facing. A great percentage of the world’s problems stem from disproportionate assets… access to those elements that are critical to a happy and healthy life.

Failing people’s ability to access these prerequisites to happiness, we leave an entire segment of humanity disenfranchised and continuously wanting for something more stable.

Humans have created everything that we need to sustain both our species, as well as our planet and its environments. Our continuous need to engage in armed conflict against one another will always hold us back from ever being a civilized specie.

It is only through our continuous efforts to obtain such, that we might ever find some degree of comfort and security in our precious lives on this hurtling rock through outer space.

There is literally no more time left to remain passive. It is time to act.

Happy Thursday!
