I thought about quitting, but then I noticed who was watching.

I thought about quitting, but then I noticed who was watching.

Have you ever been ready to throw in the towel?

When you are at the very last gasps of any energy or influence that you may have left to conjure, what has kept you in the game?

There are many variables in life that give us cause or reason to find that final burst of energy, resilience, tenacity, and determination to continue going forward.

None of these may be more influential than wanting to set the perfect example for those who are studying us as a role model in their world.

Knowing that we are part of the foundation of their belief system, gives us additional courage and focus that helps us to summon all of those deeper qualities within, in order that we might continue and ultimately prevail.

When we are entirely driven, we are more likely to save these motivating factors, for when things look the most bleak.

Having a deeper understanding that our actions will have greater long-term ramifications than we might at first be willing to accept, we are all the more introspective in our approach to achieving greatness.

When we are continuously working to succeed, we will inevitably hit crossroads in which our greatest demons may arise to do their best to strike us down.

If you find yourself at a moment, such as this, look around and take inventory of the greater ripples you will cause by allowing that moment to defeat you, and in that brief thought process, you will find another burst of energy or courage that will drive you across the finish line.

Happy Thursday!

I’m Brian
