Once changed, are we not forever different?
In our exposure to countless variables in life, we become a virtual work in progress. Many of them are so entirely incidental as to be insignificant and immaterial.
But, inevitably one or two of them are so disparate and cathartic to all that we have ever been exposed to, that we are forever a different being for our having been proximal to them in reality or thought.
Our lives are a continuous evolution. Each day, each hour and every minute bring new opportunity for our world to evolve, our perspective to mature and our vision of ourselves to expand.
When it happens in minuscule amounts, we are less likely to take notice. Yet, when something of substance is cathartic enough to catch us and turn our heads in a new direction, we are such an amorphous being that the elasticity of whom we have been, expands into whom we have just become.
Sometimes it can happen in the blink of an eye.
What is the quality within us that is actually having such an expansive experience?
The first and obvious answer must be that it is our mind, for what else would possibly be evolving at such a rapid exposure to stimuli?
But if we look deeper, some of that stimuli creates its catharsis on a quantum level within us.
It is truly possible that the right stimuli will impact us all the way down to the cellular level, and even further into the core of the atoms within.
Some of the variables carry very positive energy, some are more neutral, while others can be as devastating as anything in life.
To understand our three dimensional vessel in which we travel through this life experience, we must be fully aware of how and why this phenomenon is so powerful, so hypnotic as to capture our being and change it for eternity, all within a single second.
To test quantum theory that consciousness directly impacts reality, they shoot single photons, the individual unit of light, through a pair of parallel slits through which the light travels and behind which is a sensor capable of determining whether or not a photon has made contact with it, or not.
Our minds are made of the same variable as that sensor, to the extent that our minds are fully aware of so many of the variables that make impact, and once registered, it is immutable that the impact has been made.
Given that the mind is a finite size in physical dimensions, what is the nature of this property that enables the mind to continuously expand with knowledge, feelings and emotions?
Beethoven, Mozart, Newton, Einstein, da Vinci all referenced channeling their greatest thoughts from Source or whatever nomenclature they used to describe how they felt when the “inspiration” overcame them. With each and every inspiration they channeled, they evolved into a greater being.
We can never go home. For both home and we have changed in our absence.
In that change, we are one step closer to becoming whom we are truly destined to become.
Happy Saturday!
