It never ceases to astonish me, the extent to which so many people fail to recognize the universe as co-creator and co-participant in our daily lives and realities.

DOUG IVANOVICH

Have you ever found yourself in one of those fortuitous situations in which everything just works out?

One of those moments when you were confounded by a situation that seemed ominous at first, and then, almost as if by divine intervention, things suddenly resolve to your benefit…

Many believe that it is the hand of God that steps in and answers a prayer.

Others would describe the situation as our internal energy is continuously broadcasting to the universe and that source energy compliments it and ultimately brings circumstances to fruition.

In the end, whether your explanation is spiritual, religious or metaphysical, it is undeniable that under certain circumstances, things do seem to resolve to our overall benefit.

Is this serendipitous? Coincidental? Circumstantial? Or is it just plain luck?

In almost all of the spoken languages, there are words that have been established to communicate this quality in life…. Casualidad, 偶然, kutokuwa na furaha שלווה, الصدفة, 偶然性, serendipo, etc. If all of the languages need a word to describe a serendipitous moment, it would stand to reason that it is a very common human experience.

Each culture created the words to describe their respective gift of experience. Someone’s prayers were answered, while another put the energy into the universe and attracted it through source.

It strikes me that once a large volume of the dogma that supports this supposition is lifted, once the religious beliefs, spiritual and metaphysical beliefs are put to the side, humanity is left with this commonality.

Perhaps the arrogance of humanity is our own ability to stop trying to control one another, and instead seek the common variables that bond us as one.

Perhaps if more who were willing to look directly at this one core truth, and put to the side any of their supporting beliefs, they might be willing to see that others are experiencing similar and that when we are capable of allowing for their differences, such that we may focus on our distinct similarities, we may find the ties that bond us together.

If something fortuitous happens because our energy or prayers draw it to us, are we elated? Do we feel like something just worked out in our world that is worthy of our notice, and our appreciation as well?

You may find this in many walks of your life. You may discover when these moments arise, that you are potentially more connected on a higher level when you are conscious of the fact that something of that magnitude has transpired and allow yourself the brief moment to witness this effect transpiring and acknowledge it for the valuable component in your life that it truly is.

No matter what word, in whichever language of your choosing, you opt to describe this circumstance, you are truly at one with humanity and perhaps the universe as well, just by understanding and appreciating this luminous value.

Happy Saturday!
