People either survive in the jungle, or exist in the zoo. Few recognize the significance of the paradoxical reconciliation of the two.
THE GENTLEMEN
Are you capable of surviving in the jungle…In the true world of eat or be eaten?
In order to accomplish such a task, we must be fully willing to take on the entire world on the world’s own terms, and thereby work to maintain our liberty at almost all costs.
When we are genuinely cognizant of what this would ultimately mean, we are fully aware of the necessity to compartmentalize the prerequisite necessities in our lives, in order to survive the potentially devastating consequences of maintaining our autonomy in the face of all adversity in the wild.
Conversely, if you do not want to fend for yourself and ultimately forage the world for your individual prosperity, you may be more willing to take a comfortable position in a (presumably) secure company, and ultimately continue to exist within the confines of the corporate infrastructure.
In this determination, we are less responsible for securing our individual destiny, and as a direct byproduct of that, we are enabled to live a potentially more reliable lifestyle in which our specific needs are met, and our ultimate goals are considerably more defined within the construct of the organization, which we are serving.
We are infused with a lifeforce which helps us to understand what our respective engagements in life are capable of tolerating, and as a direct result, we are more willing to determine what type of life is acceptable, and what ultimately is not.
Very seldom, if ever, are we afforded the privilege of determining where we ourselves are most likely to fit in. In most cases, life has a propensity to unfold in its own unique fashion.
Remaining cognizant of this disparity, gives us opportunity to make a life determination of whether we wish to forge for ourselves in the wild, or do as we are instructed within a zoo.
Happy Monday!
