Choose to be around people who force you to level up.
Do you hang around with people who continually make you feel as if you can bring more to your game?
When you select the people with whom you socialize, are you working to stay amongst those who are strong in their achievements and focused on their respective goals and aspirations?
We are often times empowered by the people in our world who influence us in some of the most subtle, yet influential ways.
If we are watching others striving regularly towards higher goals and pursuits, are we more likely to feel inclined to do the same or does it leave us feeling as if we could not possibly compete, and therefore less likely to put our greatest effort forward?
In the process of fraternizing with high achievers, we are exposed to lifestyle, behavioral, and attitude choices, each of which play a distinctive role in the success of the individual.
As we watch our colleagues and friends accelerate on their respective pathways, we are reinforced on a subliminal basis that these types of goals are achievable, and in the course of socializing with others, we are able to share perspectives and techniques that may be influential to one another.
Simultaneously, we are able to confide in others as to our fears and trepidations about some of that which we are pursuing, so that perhaps they may comfort or assuage the anxiety which these emotions are causing. Perhaps they may share a common solution that they have employed which could be directly applicable to the circumstances we, ourselves, are weathering.
In our quest to find our refuge, we seek opportunities to enable us to more easily regroup internally and therefore pursue the more difficult components of the pathway upon which we are traveling.
As we work to navigate our own journey across these kinds of terrain, we are equally well-served to communicate our positive success formulas to others, for in helping another person traverse arduous territory, we are in ways, reinforcing this knowledge by teaching it to others and shoring up the strength of such knowledge within our own world of variables.
If you have opportunity to connect with, and continually socialize with others whose skill sets are on par or greater than those of your own, make the effort to do so, for within their collective wisdom, you will find answers you may never find anywhere else.
Happy Friday! Hope it’s a good one!
