Change what you are saying and you will change what you are seeing.

Change what you are saying and you will change what you are seeing.

How often do you make a statement that is absolutely contrary to what you wish were true?

We all do.

We do it when we are lamenting something and, as a direct consequence, we put energy into the universe that reflects exactly that negative or disparate situation and attracts more of it.

If you take away any of the metaphysical explanations of this phenomenon and take the advice at face value, you might quickly recognize that if you are continuing to express doubt upon that which you are pursuing with feeling or working to understand, you are on some level or another creating a self- hypnotic moment in which you are infusing your own energy into the situation in ways that you may not even be aware of.

Our continuous struggle in life is punctuated by setbacks that can occur for a host of different reasons.

These setbacks create opportunities for us to rethink and regroup on the topics we are most fearful about, in order that we might ultimately surpass whatever is causing our problem and thereby give us a reason to learn from the situation and improve our perspective and our approach in a way that is more effective, more productive, and more successful than whatever we had tried prior.

When you are in such a situation and your internal barometer is leaning towards discouragement, fear, trepidation, and disappointment, you are going to be considerably less likely to surpass the current obstacle and prevail.

Whenever you are watching a coach who is very adept at leading a team through a tough spot into their next success, you are never watching them spread negativity throughout the team, but rather, encouragement.

Positivity is an elusive variable, which is ultimately achieved through various stimuli. Almost inevitably, empowerment is achieved through various recipes of positive thinking, enlightenment and a belief system that enables us to more readily understand the variables in which we must ultimately prevail.

When everything is viewed entirely as a formula, there isn’t a lot of room left for speculation that this approach will yield anything less than improved performance.

If you want to take the metaphysical perspective, “that which is like unto itself is drawn,” then the more that you exude these qualities, the more you will attract them.

Happy Tuesday!
