I don’t follow the footsteps of others; I listen to my heart.
Are you more likely to follow your heart, or are you more likely to proceed down the path that others have traveled prior?
When you are self-determined, you are continuously traversing your path into new territory in which your greatest hopes may be realized, but equally offset by the chance of encountering some of your greatest fears in the process.
The opportunity to continuously view our destiny through a filter of choice gives us more freedom and more opportunity to live a potentially more full, more well-rounded life.
Our consistent aberration from the norm is what keeps us individually unique in countless ways.
Not only does following our heart expand our ability to exercise our freedom of choice, our individual pathway also sparks countless permutations, which we might never have discovered otherwise.
The road less traveled opens the door for specific qualities within ourselves to mature and thereby give way to further instances of such activity in that personal evolution, which we opt Into for ourselves.
We are continuously kicking the door further open in the understanding that the wider the door, the greater the possible permutations of individuality we have enabled within ourselves.
If some of these concepts are foreign to you or appear too daunting to implement… start by doing something very simple like going into a restaurant and ordering something you’ve never eaten before…and try the experience.
The worst that happens is you’re going to pay for a meal you did not like and the best that happens is you’re going to discover you like something new.
The further you expand your willingness to choose the far less obvious choice you would normally make, the sooner you will come to the understanding that you have substantial opportunities in which to demonstrate further expressions of individuality… until eventually, at some much later date, you have gone down the pathway and forging new territory that no one else has walked prior.
The sense of empowerment that you will feel, as a direct result, is immeasurable.
