No single solution or actor can deal with the complex and interrelated challenges to electoral integrity arising from manipulated data, hate speech, and fake news. These phenomena are not new; they have been part of electoral cycles since the advent of democracy.

Have you hit a saturation point from all of the insanity that is continuing to circle around us? Do you long for the days when both parties in the United States were reasonable enough to make compromises to work together so that we can continue to accelerate the country in a productive manner?

Do you look around sometimes and just want to tune all of it out so that we are continuously not being bombarded by the blitz of inflammatory information designed to overwhelm our senses and leave us in a continuous state of anxiety and despair?

That is the complete point of it all.

If the overwhelming stimuli are continuously thwarting our desire to rise above the fray and elevate our communities and humanity as a whole to a higher elevated state, then the numbing component to all of that is actually performing as expected. If we are not the sentinels of freedom, who else is going to do this for us?

If we are not willing to continue to wade through the continuous slime in order that we might see the facts for what they truly are, how do we remotely expect to maintain a sovereign democracy?

Kofi Annan was a Ghanaian diplomat who served as the seventh secretary-general of the United Nations from 1997 to 2006. Annan and the UN were the co-recipients of the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize. He was the founder and chairman of the Kofi Annan Foundation, as well as chairman of The Elders, an international organization founded by Nelson Mandela.

His perspective from the eye of the metaphorical hurricane cannot be overlooked. Especially in a time of crisis such as this. It is for these reasons that my partners and I are working to put together the greatest peace movement in history. We are banding together with countless resources in the entertainment and music industries, as well as some of the leading scientists and evolutionary thinkers around the world, in our attempt to accelerate newfound prosperity for humanity at large.

We are the heroes that we have been waiting for. It is entirely up to us.
