Only during hard times do people come to understand how difficult it is to be master of their feelings and thoughts.
Are you truly a master of your thoughts and feelings?
When circumstances feel overwhelming, have you acquired the skills to compartmentalize the components that are becoming difficult to manage so that you may continue to operate functionally in every other category?
When your feelings are hurt, you are trying your hardest to assuage them with other thought processes to stimulate alternate feelings, and if so, are you able to regain control?
The entire process of trying to stay completely on top of the circumstances that drive our emotions is a 24/7 experience. It never really disappears, it just fades into the background when it is not needed.
The more adept that we become at maintaining complete control of these, the more freedom we are able to generate for our lifestyle and our pathway to achieving our greatest dreams and aspirations.
There are many times when the inability to control our thoughts, or our feelings, betray us in a moment of weakness and, under the wrong circumstances, a slip of this caliber can derail months, if not years, of preparation and hard work.
Learning the prerequisite skills to monitor our internal functionalities, remains one of the most important and therefore most crucial of all of life lessons to master.
If you find yourself allowing these variables to confuse your thought process and thereby your hard work that you have already put towards a goal or aspiration, then you must take the time to prioritize learning how to become more passive and nonplussed by external stimuli.
Happy Friday!
