If you are silent about your beliefs because you are worried someone will be offended, then your beliefs are not that important to you, but rather what people think, is. When you stand up for truth, you will receive both love and hate, but everyone will know what you’re fighting for.
Do you stand up for your belief systems?
When you find yourself in controversial moments, are you willing to speak your mind regardless of what others might think of you? Or are you more content to remain passive and allow others to create the parameters under which you would be continuing to live your life?
There are so many moments in life where we are continuously acquiescing to the status quo. We must navigate our journey between making life work with the variables surrounding us, and speaking out directly about our specific belief system.
We are often times shrouded by societal pressure to acquiesce to morals, logistics, laws, and societal norms, which we know in our hearts cannot possibly be what is best for the situation at hand.
I believe it is incumbent upon us to speak the truth and allow that truth to resonate, regardless of the way such a pronouncement would make others view us, as a direct result.
If we are not courageous enough to stand up for what must be defended and to maintain codes of honor, ethics, and morality in order to live in a truly free society, then we are most certainly doomed to lose these privileges.
Unfortunately, we encounter a multitude of disparate belief systems in which the obvious answer of what is moral must be tempered by the fact that we will inevitably cross paths with those who religious belief systems may stand directly in the face of that which we might deem as moral.
How might we best cross such a chasm if we, ourselves, are feeling all the more justified in our position, independent of the fact that our position is directly contradictory to another person‘s religious beliefs?
This is why the United States was founded on the premise that we are a nation which purports to believe in the freedom for every individual to choose their own religious beliefs and yet, there is a large majority of one of those religions, which seems steadfastly determined to continue to impose their archaic will upon everyone else. They are operating as a collective cult, outwardly purporting to believe in a messiah whose teachings they have entirely abandoned and labeled as too woke.
This is the reason why it is imperative for us to speak out. We have just witnessed women in this country instantly losing the right to manage the health of their own body, because others believe they know better. Many unfortunate women have died now as a result of this harsh legal decision, and many more will soon follow.
We are on the precipice of an election in which one of our political parties has been completely corrupted and is now entirely operating in complete cult fashion. Their views are fanned by FOX news who just had to pay $750 million fine and publicly admit that FOX news is ENTERTAINMENT and NOT FACTUAL NEWS!
If brave individuals are not willing to speak up against such travesty of justice, the great American dream will quickly erode into an era of darkness.
Speak out!
Happy Friday!
