You don’t have to move mountains. Simply fall in love with life. Be a tornado of happiness, gratitude and acceptance. You will change the world just by being a warm, kind hearted human being.

Does life often times feel completely overwhelming to the point that you are feeling like Atlas, shouldering the entire world upon your being? One of the great secrets of life is the ability to find joy in countless smaller details they give you a patchwork of continuous happiness as a direct result of your perception of those variables.
If you are getting caught in the myopic perspectives that potentially shadow your daily existence, perhaps today’s aphorism will help you refocus your appreciation towards the details that matter most in your life.
We are often times lost in the day-to-day minutia that can very quickly overwhelm us, but as we mature, we are all the more capable of differentiating those issues from our particular enjoyment of each and every day and all of the qualities that make us feel alive.
If your life is feeling overwhelming, or it is failing to live up to your expectations, it would be wise to recognize that there is someone out there who is dreaming of living your lifestyle. Your home, for all that it may appear lacking to you, is a palace in the mind of another. Your health is the aspiration of yet another. Your quality of friends, the food that you eat, your pastime recreations are all subject to the fantasies of those who are hoping to someday enjoy that which you have, right at this very moment.
When your stress is overwhelming, find something, anything, that makes you feel alive. If there is a song you cannot help but smile when hearing, put it on and turn it up! If there is a place nearby that makes you feel special, go there. If there is someone in your life that connects with you and makes you happy to have them in your life, reach out and let them know.
Four and a half years ago, we went into lockdown from Covid. That was the day I started writing these. I have not missed a day since. I realized that for me, the joy was having some reason to be in touch with people that I care about. To share a few musings about whatever caught my attention that morning and to stay connected to people that matter to me.
Find something in your world which connects you to life. Fall deeply, madly and passionately in love with life. It is truly all that you have. So savor it. It will never go the way you expect, so roll with the variables. Find joy in the parts that make you feel alive. Learn that your appreciation of these things is the fountain of happiness and to miss that detail is to lose a massively important perspective on life.
Happy Friday!
