You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you can be happy.

NIGHTBIRDE

You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you can be happy.

Is your life a continuous cycle of doing what needs to be done with the expectation that someday you will have your moment of happiness?

Supposing that moment never comes, how would you view that decision if, in fact, that were to be the case?

Perhaps we are continuously deluding ourselves (on some level) as to the prospect of a happy pasture just ahead.

Might it not make more sense to find the happiness throughout each and every day? There are ample opportunities if we are that much more aware of how and why they exist.

I notice that a majority of the time, there is some anticipation of some reward coming down the pike. Even if, in fact, that is the case, look at all of the missed opportunities to be aware of and grateful for the happiness that is manifesting all around you, just for your appreciation.

Happiness can be fleeting. It may be omnipresent at first and looking negligible at other moments in time.

Our life experience, and the overall quality of such a life experience would escalate considerably with a slight tweak on our perceptual concept of happiness in general. When we are fully present and capable of our most aware experiences, we might be quick to find happiness in all sorts of small things which collectively, make us all the more appreciative of everything we have.

I pulled this aphorism from a beautiful spirit, Nightbirde, who auditioned for America’s Got Talent with only a few months left to live. She was exquisite, her courage was transmitted to millions worldwide and her memory has been revered by so many as a direct result.

Happy Monday!
