You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.

You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Are you more inclined to get something done when it needs to be done, or are you more prone to postponing it for a later date?

The art of procrastination is one that is played out in the mind of the person who is not willing, nor desirous of confronting core issues head on (assuming they possess the prerequisite capability required to solve whatever issue one could potentially be facing at a specific moment in time).

When we are truly adept at recognizing our role in life, we really have no choice but to actively pursue our greatest and most important responsibilities with all of the courage and determination that we might require.

The ability to pull our mindset into the proper space, such that we are able to fully navigate our path from whatever point of trouble we are currently facing, to the internal strength required to address such a problem and resolve it promptly and efficiently, is a strength that is continuously maturing as we advance in our respective paths in life.

It is only through a deeper understanding of how and why this is so important do we ultimately accelerate in life.

To Lincoln’s specific point, the responsibility for tomorrow cannot be avoided in an ostrich-like fashion. Tomorrow will come soon enough, and if we are not prepared and capable, the inevitabilities of tomorrow will overshadow whatever comfort or security we are currently enjoying.

Take climate change for example, it has become acceptable for people to believe that the climate change (and therefore, science) is a hoax. It may be so convenient that an entire party (cult) can rally behind such absurdities, but the inevitable wave of ever-increasing multitudes of weather aberrations make such an evasion, not only impractical, but potentially lethal for many innocent parties who are solely hoping that humanity will awaken and resolve these crises as soon as possible.

Our ability to forecast the future and to be proactive in our approach to dealing with problems at hand, could not be any more important.

Happy Saturday!
