What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.

What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.

HENRY DAVID THOREAU

How has your journey to achieve your goals sculpted you as an individual?

If you look back to the earliest stages of whatever was the impetus that gave you cause or reason to start on this particular journey, how different are you from the person who started the journey?

Almost every journey is fraught with pitfalls and variables which appear as reliable and dependable at face value, but, are actually trap doors, waiting to drop out from underneath you with the slightest provocation.

So as you encounter the troublesome situations and circumstances, and ultimately navigate your way beyond them, what is the defining maturation of your skills and character that have arisen as a direct result of you having applied yourself to this particular journey?

When we encounter adversity, we are forced to dig deep within, in order that we might find the ultimate combination of solutions aand resources with which to address whatever impediment stands in our path.

This continuous stream of problem solving and situation adjusting that we are continuously leveraging, sculpts us in countless unique ways that almost nothing else in life could possibly do.

When the knowledge that is acquired is empirical and you are working to solve any one of these problems, you are far more likely to potentially leverage the knowledge that you may have acquired over time, but it is only through the applied usage of that knowledge that we awaken to qualities about ourselves, of which we might never have previously been aware.

These experiences put us face-to-face with our own abilities to circumnavigate distraction, negativity and thwart the forces which threatened to allow the path upon which we are traveling to be navigated.

It is in this window of opportunity that we are ultimately growing in an exponential manner in order to ultimately prevail in any of the conflicting circumstances within which we find ourselves.

Happy Monday!
