Just because a decision hurts, doesn’t mean that it was the wrong decision.

Have you ever made a decision that you knew in your heart was unquestionably the correct decision, regardless how painful it was to make?

There are many chapters in life, spanning the myriad variables that ultimately make up one individual’s existence.

As we navigate our way through our own unique journey, there are inevitably forks in the road that require our individual determination.

Moving further down our pathway, it might be quite common to reflect backwards and second-guess, whether or not some of the choices that we made were in our very best interest.

We are that much more influenced by those thoughts as we encounter the next crossroads in our life…we might inevitably allow certain feelings of regret or remorse from earlier decisions to influence the choices that we might make at such a moment.

If we are secure in our thought process, and with whom we are becoming, we will inevitably continue to make these decisions with ever greater certainty, if for no reason, then prior experiences have given us greater perspective.

Inevitably, some of these decisions will be wrong or might be what would appear to be in our detriment, regardless of some of the rewards of such a determination.

If we are fully capable of detaching ourselves, we might give our current situation enough perspective as to galvanize our internal fortitude to make even more beneficial outcomes.

When we make a decision that leaves us feeling pain, I believe that the negative emotion of that pain is our higher being which continues to communicate with us through positive and negative emotions. In such a situation, I believe that our higher being is allowing us to have a true emotion, and in some cases, mourn the outcome.

If you continue to believe that when one door closes, another one opens, you are that much more likely to find yourself arriving at that open doorway.

If you are spending too much time in remorse, you are cheating yourself of the opportunity to accelerate into the future of your making.

Happy Friday!
