Anytime you doubt yourself, remember, you are a strong soul who shines after any storm. You can literally get through ANYTHING. You have demonstrated that time and time again. Keep going. Keep shining! You’ve got this!

Where do we find the stamina to continue when we are most certain we are out of steam? Over the course of a lifetime, I have learned that you can keep going long after you think you cannot.
Do we summon a reserve energy that enables our ability to continue, or was our thought that we were fully spent, just an illusion in the first place?
Sometimes this inner drive comes from the most unusual stimuli. It can come from our own state of desperation, or in other cases, just when you think you have nothing left to give, when a friend or loved one calls out, you are suddenly able to turn it all on again, to be by their side, just as they would do for you.
The entire running on empty paradox fascinates me because over the course of my life, my career has required this skillset more times than I could possibly imagine. It is not an advisable way to live, nor a pleasant one, but if you want to break free of whatever confines are keeping your life in check, you must discover how important it is for you to summon that kind of life perspective. Anything less than this, is catastrophic.
Life delivers many chapters, each of which enable us to stand upon the shoulders of whom we were yesterday, allowing us the fortune and perspective to capitalize upon the strengths we continue to accumulate. These strengths may appear transparent to us as they are aggregating, but then, one day, the need to call upon those strengths gives us pause to appreciate how many of them we have amassed over time.
When they are called into action, they are every bit as much a part of us as the rest of our being, but if we are aware at that moment, we might recognize that some of these qualities were not present in us at earlier chapters of our lives. This recognition propels us into a deeper understanding of how and why we must continue to develop those skills, and keep them at ready, able to be leveraged at a moment’s notice.
If you are headed into a storm, or already deep within, summon that inner strength and leverage all that you have learned such that you emerge victorious on the other side. As Winston Churchill so wisely stated, “If you are going through Hell, keep going.”
Happy Saturday!
