Be the reason that someone still believes in magic, truth, authenticity, compassion, loyalty, courage, and love that does not have an agenda.

Be the reason that someone still believes in magic, truth, authenticity, compassion, loyalty, courage, and love that does not have an agenda.

Do your actions help perpetuate a continuous belief that there is a much higher moral code of ethics than others might otherwise ascribe to?

Is there a behavior in your overall regimen that continues to instill belief that perhaps there is a much deeper resonance that others could potentially tap into?

We are so readily connected to our daily lives, that we may often times lose track of the ramifications of others watching us and pulling inspiration from our daily efforts, in ways of which we may not even be remotely aware.

Our continuous behavior sets a form of metronome for another, who might be quietly studying our behavior, whether consciously or unconsciously, as part of what they might start to choose to emulate in their own daily lives.

As we continue to make the choices and seek the opportunities that we deem most valuable or necessary for our world to thrive, we are laying a portion of the groundwork for the others to follow behind us with ever greater certainty, that they will prevail in whatever it is that they have sent their minds to accomplishing.

We are a continuous work in progress, and as our own life experiences continue to influence all of that we are working to become, we are unquestionably in a prime position to model the type of behavior that we are most desirous of promoting, for future generations to follow.

I believe it is one thing to continuously promote the core building blocks of being a valuable human being, and it is completely another to be generous in our continuous evolution as a human being, such that we are equally modeling the behavior that evokes the belief in a sense of magic and wonder that stimulates these belief systems in others.

If we are continuously discussing these kinds of topics, but we are not working daily to live them, and thereby exemplify them, as would be warranted by the actions of a truly sentient being, then we are not living up to our greatest potentials, because we are leaving the continuous pathway of next generations, wanting as a result of our inept ability to be exemplary when required.

When we give others the courage, paired with the motivation and impetus to excel, we are unquestionably giving a piece of ourselves to the future of humanity at large.

Find a way to always walk the talk. It truly matters.

Happy Wednesday!

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
