Do you know how many ideas an individual has had that has been summarily dismissed by a spouse, lover, parent, friend, or colleague? More great ideas that have started from inspiration have ended discarded because someone listened to someone else who did not “get” them. They might laugh, dismiss, reject, and even provoke you for the ideas you are sharing. In that moment of shame, you are facing the opportunity to extinguish an internal flame, as easily as snuffing out a candle with your finger.
Do not listen to them. Do not let their inability to see what you see reduce your dream in ANY possible capacity. Their inability to see it is a defining variable about what makes your vision so special. So unique. So on point.
The world is full of naysayers. People who do not dream. People who cannot visualize. People who are content operating within the status quo. They are fine being what they are. Pass no judgement on them, until they try to cause you to stop believing in what YOU see within. From the point they cross that boundary, they should be fully excluded from your psyche.
YOU have a gift. YOU have this dream. YOU have this burning fire deep within that tells you….. No, it literally screams at you. That YOU are what is required. That YOU have what it takes. That you can change what is currently so. You can feel it. You can taste it. You know in your innermost soul that you are destined to propel yourself into that reality, regardless of every last evidence to the contrary.
It is not arrogance that drives you. It is not delusion either. It is vision. It is a deep innermost knowledge that Source has allowed you to experience for a reason. It picks you up in your lowest moments and catapults you right back into the stratosphere. It is a force far beyond anything you can explain, rationalize or predict. It is just there. And you know it. And you feel it.
You MUST listen to that inner voice. You MUST find a way to quiet the fear that the doubters and haters bestow upon you. You MUST wake up every single day and reconnect with this inner voice, regardless of your comfort, regardless of your loneliness, and regardless of every voice to the contrary.
Your life is the one that is riding on your decision at this moment. Not theirs. Your dreams are dependent upon you knowing beyond any shadow of any doubt that you are the perfect person to make this happen, regardless of any public perception of you that may exist in your circle of influence.
Some people are destined for greatness. This does not come from a God. It is not written in a book. There is no fate that has preordained this. It stems solely and directly from YOU. You are the cause. You are the reason. You are the momentum. Your vision will prevail over every obstacle in its way if you KNOW all of this to be true. Beyond any shadow of a doubt.
There will be very hard times on this journey. Self-doubt will work to destroy you at the weakest of moments. Life will deliver harsh obstacles that leave you quietly despondent, wondering and praying for some answer. There is only one answer. The dream that you set out to accomplish. None else will suffice.
If you are destined for greatness, then the momentum that YOU create and the energy that YOU put into that belief and the efforts and sacrifices that YOU make along the way are your rocket fuel. There can be none other. Your gifts, your talent, your imagination, your intelligence are all things deep within you that you must unleash upon the world. Regardless of any of the voices, internal or external that try to convince you otherwise.
You may not have the financial resources to accomplish what you are believing you are capable of doing. You may have grown up on the wrong side of the tracks. You might have started life disenfranchised by birth rights. But some voice deep inside of you spoke to you in a moment of clarity that said “you’ve got this.” That voice is TRUTH. It does not care about your predicament. It does not care about your circumstances. It does not care who your parents were or who they were not. It does not care about your talented siblings, or your privileged friends. It only cares about one thing. Your vision. Your truth. Your destiny.
That truth explains to you that you are going to believe in yourself, that you are going to attempt the impossible. That you are going to do larger and grander things than anyone else ever thought was possible of you. That truth is who YOU are. Never, ever discount that. It is the flame inside of you that burns brightest. It is the stimulation that drives you to make that tough phone call, reach out and ask for something you are terrified to ask for. To apply to that school you do not think you will get into. To find YOUR place in the universe and make it truly your own.
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF ABOVE ALL ELSE.
