The teacher can open the door but the student must walk through it.
Obstacles can’t stop you. Problems can’t stop you. Most of all, other people can’t stop you. Only you can stop you.
Sometimes you think you want to disappear but all you really want is to be found.
Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.
Life is a mountain. Your goal is to find your path, not to reach the top.
The men and women of law enforcement who defended the US Capitol on January 6 are heroes. They are patriots and they are the very best of us. They did not just defend a building or the people sheltering in it, they put their lives on the line to defend who we are as a country and as a people. They defended the very institutions and principles that define the United States.
Are you the same person that you were yesterday?
The measure of your life is the amount of beauty and happiness of which you are aware.
Never underestimate the power of a positive thought on a difficult day.
Yesterday, I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today, I am wise, so I am changing myself.
