Things are not always what they seem; the first appearance deceives many.
Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction. Break the habit. Talk about your joys.
You are a spirit, driving a meat-coated skeleton, made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear nothing.
Self-control is strength. Calmness is mastery. You have to get to a point where your mood doesn’t shift based on the insignificant actions of someone else. Don’t allow others to control the direction of your life. Don’t allow your emotions to suppress your intelligence.
Every day, stand guard to the door of your mind.
It doesn’t matter who you used to be. What matters is who you decide to be today.
You have this one life. How do you want to spend it?
I don’t think people realize how much strength it takes to pull yourself out of a dark place mentally. So if you’ve done that today, or any day, I’m proud of you.
A mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place, no one else can take.
Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us.
