It’s the lack of hope that kills you.
Every disadvantage has its advantage.
I get up and nothin’ gets me down. You got it tough, I’ve seen the toughest around. And I know, baby, just how you feel. You got to roll with the punches and get to what’s real.
All experience is an arch wherethrough gleams that untraveled world whose margin fades forever and forever when I move.
My hope is that the 21st century will be the first century where there will be no violation of human rights, and to that end, Japan would like to do our outmost.
Respect the old when you are young. Help the weak when you are strong. Confess your faults when you are wrong. Because one day, you will be old, weak and wrong.
Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.
I like clear intentions. Tell me how you feel. Spell out what you want. Be open. Be honest. Be transparent.
It is no light matter to put in jeopardy a single life when it is the very singularity of each life which underpins the idea of a just society.
Fearlessness is not only possible, it is the ultimate joy. When you touch nonfear, you are free.
