Maturity is learning to walk away from people and situations that threaten your peace of mind, self-respect, values, morals or self-worth.
The problem with “energy doesn’t lie” and “trust your gut” memes is they don’t account for how social conditioning, prejudice, fear of change, trauma and anxiety can feel like inner guidance. Exploring our feelings with discernment is key so we learn to tell the difference.
If you don’t fight for what you want, then don’t cry for what you lost.
A lie doesn’t become the truth, wrong doesn’t become right, and evil doesn’t become good, just because it is accepted by a majority.
What is a soul? It’s like electricity – we don’t really know what it is, but it’s a force that can light a room.
Anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.
Pain makes you stronger. Fear makes you braver. Heartbreak makes you wiser. So thank your past for a better future.
Mystery creates wonder and wonder is the basis of man’s desire to understand.
Don’t use your energy to worry. Use your energy to believe.
However many holy words you read, however many you speak, what good will they do you if you do not act upon them?
