The world is clearly coming to a tipping point. The haves versus the have nots is becoming so pronounced that some form of equilibrium will have to be met, or the chaos will continue. Clear communication must be the solution.

All weekend I have been pondering what piece of the puzzle I might be willing to, or capable of, adding to the solution. As we are building a platform of significance and depth, it feels incumbent upon us to see the flaws and work collectively towards providing solutions.

In our country, we are being manipulated by external forces to turn upon one another with ever greater ferocity. I believe it is important to ask ourselves who gains from the destabilization of the most powerful country on the planet?

In watching the anger pave way to demonstration which then became a license for social unrest which then became a license for crime and hatred, I am searching my soul for how or what I might do as one individual.

As I watched the Sun crest the horizon this morning, hoping with all of my being that we are in position to accelerate our efforts, I put all of my focus during my walk on trying to be in communication with the larger forces in life. Regardless of anything that our president or any president or any world leader has ever done, the sun will certainly rise in the morning. Completely out of the control of humanity.

The water vapor in the air continues to illuminate as the photons emit from the sun and excite the water molecules in the air, making the clouds turn all sorts of beautiful shades. The moisture on the field grass glistens with vibrant intensity as the sun’s rays connect and bend through the droplets of water.

Humanity is an afterthought. With all of our self righteous, self importance, we actually amount to nothing in the grand scheme of the universe. Watching SpaceX this weekend connect with the space station filled me with a deep hope that there remains a side of humanity worth cherishing. Watching people on television attending to those in need during demonstration reminds me that human compassion is still a core force to be appreciated. Sitting on a sidewalk café having a meal yesterday was such a privilege after three months of lockdown, a tiny moment of normalcy was ecstatic. Human communication in person is critical.

I look for these little signs and view them through the picture of the universe at large because sometimes when my perspective is myopic, the world seems so dark and disappointing. You cannot eliminate darkness with darkness, it has to come from light. In many cases, light is defined as the release of photons, but sometimes light comes from being at one with the universe at large and expressing love and energy in the kindest of ways.

This next evolution that we are facing will require everybody to potentially rethink some of the dogma that is being fed to us from our respective reality sources. If we have any chance of survival, it must certainly come from finding commonality, trust and understanding. Suppression of humanity has never worked for any great length of time in history, hence my quotation today. Sometimes the only strength to pull from is to unconsciously connect with source and allow the greater consciousness to prevail. Clear communication is everything!

It has been a very trying weekend, here’s hoping this week evolves into something much more positive.??☀️

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
