How does one matriculate from blowing bubbles into releasing fully realized opportunities?

Blowing the bubbles are fun. Brainstorming. Dreaming. Thinking out of the box. Coming up with stuff nobody else has ever thought of. These are the fruits of the imagination and they fuel an entrepreneur’s passion with tremendous inertia.

But when an entrepreneur sits down to eat, they cannot consume a bubble. For upon first bite, there is no substance for consumption. The bubble pops, and all that is left is a memory.

The journey from a bubble to a fully realized product, experience, art form or otherwise is both joyous and excruciating. Yin Yang.

The opportunity to grow on that journey is the whole reason why an entrepreneur does it in the first place. My dentist loves to tell me that entrepreneurs put themselves into a box just so they can try and figure a way out of it. I would probably be hard-pressed to tell him he is inaccurate. I guess that explains why I have spent my life crawling out of boxes metaphorically.

The exhilaration of going from a bubble which was created on a whim of imagination and converting that into a tangible reality that others can experience is perhaps one of the greatest and most fulfilling moments that I believe life has to offer.

Like all journeys, arriving at the Destiination has a wonderful initial burst of joy, followed by a deep feeling inside that one is longing for a need to keep taking steps towards the next Destiination.

Ultimately I think this proves to oneself that it is all about the journey and really has nothing to do with the Destiination other than it has proven to oneself that the journey was achievable and thereby adding further fuel to one’s passion to take on the next and even more complicated endeavor.

Keep blowing bubbles. Enthusiasm is contagious. Dreams can become reality if you are resolute in your vision and determined beyond measure to achieve what you promised yourself you would achieve.

Have a great day!!✨✨✨

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
