Every morning, you have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams or wake up and chase them.

Every morning, you have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams or wake up and chase them.

Are you chasing your dreams?

Do you do this methodically? Or haphazardly?

Do you look for every opportunity to manifest your dream into reality?

Do you reach out regularly to people, institutions or organizations that might help facilitate your ability to arrive at your prescribed destinations?

In the course of pursuing a dream, an understanding of how that dream would specifically materialize, combined with a thought process that is intuitively derived in order to enable you to navigate a path into uncharted territory, is mandatory.

With these resources, you may venture headfirst into new territory for yourself with a deeper understanding that in the course of venturing into that territory, you will be growing as a work in progress, every hour of every day.

The fact that you are a complex system that is continuing to evolve, makes your projections and your expectations somewhat less guaranteed and relies in part on how adept your particular ability is, in pursuing those kinds of parameters.

Every dream quest yields moments of setback. It’s part of the beast. In order to ensure that the setbacks do not waylay your progress, you must be very clear about these variables, so that when or if they transpire, you are that much more able to know in your heart that they are just par for the course and, as a direct result, you do not empower them to discourage your internal momentum, that propels you headfirst towards the accomplishment of this dream.

In your core being, you must know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you will make it your destiny to arrive at whatever parameters you have delineated as the destination of this dream.

Through this, you will be further enabled to recognize obstacles as they might materialize on your path and defeat them through countless methodologies. A dream is a gift that is given to us from places and entities, unknown. Our ability to exercise our own strength of will, and empower us to overcome countless unforeseen obstacles in the face of succeeding at our personal goal, could not be more important.

If, and when you are granted a dream that you are most desirous of pursuing, you must get out of bed and start chasing it.

Happy Sunday!

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
