Humanity Can’t Hide On The Dark Side Of The Moon

I am beyond saddened at the turn of events in the last 24 hours. Humanity contained is humanity on a powder keg waiting to explode. What they did to Beverly Hills yesterday was unconscionable. Then on Facebook I see someone sharing they were going to start protesting in Bel Air, 500 yards from my home at the Glen Center. I asked her please not to do it and of course that was met with belligerence stating that businesses can always recoup against an insurance policy. OMFG. Unbelievable how absolutely ignorant people can be. She wants to demonstrate to the affluent that Black Lives Matter. Many many people in this neighborhood already agree. You cannot make vast value judgements against any large volume of humanity, the odds are your values are inaccurate. Starting… at first with mine at this moment. I did not want her in my neighborhood starting chaos and when asking her nicely not to do it went nowhere, I went to plan B….

So I go on Neighborhood app and alert the community. I like the Glen Center, I did not want the business owners up there to be potentially looted and vandalized by an out of control segment of humanity. I post my correspondence only to learn, that this militant (I thought) woman lives across the street from the center. She planned to just be one woman standing out there with a sign. My bad… perhaps…. So after my neighbors get into an uproar, the police notified, everyone with an opinion, intelligent, sentient and/or ignorant all weigh in, I am thinking perhaps I was just Chicken Little after all. SO I go back to the Facebook post and see that her little comment is now followed by people posting the signs of EAT THE RICH and other vile graffiti that was sprayed in Beverly Hills, and now she has identified a location in my neighborhood to alert the loonies on the path.

I do not know what else to say about humanity. I will see you all on the Dark Side of the Moon.

Now… for a bit of fascination as to this AMAZING IMAGE….. you are seeing the dark side of the moon. Something that 110,000,000,000 humans before you had never seen until during our lifetime….

Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite’s EPIC maintains a constant view of the fully illuminated Earth as it rotates, providing scientific observations of ozone, vegetation, cloud height and aerosols in the atmosphere.
About twice a year the camera captures the Moon and Earth together as the orbit of DSCOVR crosses the orbital plane of the Moon.
These images were taken between 3:50 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. EDT showing the moon moving over the Pacific Ocean near North America. The North Pole is in the upper left corner of the image. It is in the original orientation as taken by the spacecraft and beamed back to humanity.

The far side of the Moon was not seen until 1959 when the Soviet Luna 3 spacecraft returned the first images. Since then, several NASA missions have imaged the lunar far side in great detail. The same side of the Moon always faces an earthbound observer because the Moon is tidally locked to Earth. That means its orbital period is the same as its rotation around its axis.

“It is surprising how much brighter Earth is than the Moon,” said Adam Szabo, DSCOVR project scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. “Our planet is a truly brilliant object in dark space compared to the lunar surface.”

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
