If you cannot mean what you say then you cannot say what you mean.

Words are beautiful and understanding more of them colors the world we (you) live in. So much of what I have to write professionally has to be dumbed down for the intended audience.

Sometimes, you have to get angry to get things done.

Is anger a valuable tool? In my experience, for the most part, it is a huge Achilles’ heel that threatens the normalcy of any circumstance by throwing the equilibrium of the moment completely out of balance.

I still get rejections – frequently – and my goal isn’t to never fail, to never be turned down, but simply to succeed more often than I don’t. And in order to do that, I have to constantly put myself out there, to judgment, critique, and rejection.

Putting oneself out there to judgment, critique and rejection is one of the more maturing processes one can ever attempt. It requires courage of an unparalleled magnitude.

Somewhere over the rainbow…Bluebirds fly…And the dream that you dare to…Oh why, oh why can’t I?

We all dream of big wishes coming true. We put them on a pedestal and worship them with our daily hopes and expectations. We feed them with our time, our focus and an innate sense of purpose.

It is very clear to me that the acquisition of physical items is in and of itself just a pastime, and certainly not an endgame.

There’s no such thing as ruining your life. Life is a pretty resilient thing, it turns out.

If I make this decision and it does not go the way I planned, my life will be ruined.    Have you heard that one before? Or even dared think it yourself? The reality is that even when or if that option goes south, the sun rises the next day…

Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves.

If there is one thing that is common among every one of the great sages whom I have read… it is that they all hit a period (or multiple periods) in their life where they were completely lost.
