Ripples….When you create a difference in someone’s life, you not only impact their life, you impact everyone influenced by them throughout their entire lifetime. No act is ever too small. One by one, this is how to make an ocean rise.

Ripples….When you create a difference in someone’s life, you not only impact their life, you impact everyone influenced by them throughout their entire lifetime. No act is ever too small. One by one, this is how to make an ocean rise.
What difference have you made in someone’s life?
Whether you are taking time out of your life to read to a child, or whether you are helping an elderly person accomplish a difficult task, or helping a coworker solve a difficult problem or engaging a student to think differently… every little effort carries significant ripples in their actions from the touch point to the ultimate outcomes of such experiences.
We are sometimes, so myopically focused on working to make our own way in the world, that we may be blinded by the reality of how many individual people helped us at key moments in our lives, in ways that we have long since forgotten.
This continuous series of touch points, that each of us have passed through over the course of a lifetime, is so voluminous as to leave most of these memories in some dark chamber of the mind, presumably to be forgotten for all time. And yet, any one of them might have been one of the impetuses that created a part of your behavior or personality, or approach to any specific detail that you are no longer even potentially crediting to… for lack of accurate memory, and/or understanding as to how and why what they have done with you has made such a significant impact in your world.
When we are formulating our methodologies for becoming greater than we are currently, one of the most important variables in the equation, must be our service to others.
In that service, we are continuously adding to the fabric of the future, in ways that we may never imagine, nor will we ever come to learn how, and why something that we have done has been so impactful to not only another individual, but potentially all of the people to whom they have passed that benefit, as a result of having acquired it through their engagements with us.
This is truly the embodiment of “pay it forward,” and can never be underestimated in our overall approach to whom we are and ultimately to whom we are becoming.
In this mindset, we will no doubt play a firm foundation to enable those who follow behind us, to stand on the shoulders of the giants, who preceded them.
Happy Wednesday!
