Somewhere over the rainbow…Bluebirds fly…And the dream that you dare to…Oh why, oh why can’t I?
We all dream of big wishes coming true. We put them on a pedestal and worship them with our daily hopes and expectations. We feed them with our time, our focus and an innate sense of purpose.
With each and every day, our biggest dreams are propelled further into existence out of sheer grit and determination.
Our end game is spelled out in our imagination and through that vision, we are able to endure almost anything to see those dreams and experiences manifest before our very eyes.
Some of our dreams are contingent upon others, some of them rely entirely on ourselves, but all of them have one thing in common. They are the reason we kick our heels out of bed in the morning, the reason we know we were put on this planet to achieve.
I had written this lyric down a week and a half ago and today I decided I wanted to write about it. So I am walking through my neighborhood first thing in the morning predawn. And watching for signs of when the sun will rise. As I took a pause from the paragraph above, I looked up and there was a giant rainbow in the sky, the entire arc. It’s not raining, there’s not even a lot of water moisture, but somehow the right combination existed. I have lived up here for almost 4 years and I have never seen a rainbow. I think that is an interesting anomaly.
When we consciously manifest our dreams by putting our attention and our focus on a specific intent, I firmly believe that just about everything as possible. With Dorothy, all she really had to do was click her heels in order to find her way back home. For the rest of us who are not wearing ruby red slippers, it’s probably going to take a whole lot of extra hard work to get there, but if your resolve is firm, you can get anywhere in life you set your mind to achieving.
