Stay the course, trust the force.

Stay the course, trust the force.
Do you believe in a higher order of things?
Do you think that if you interact with that higher order, that your current reality can be modified to your benefit?
When you are in a very difficult position, do you instinctively trust in this higher power to guide you and guard you from danger?
Different cultures and religions identify with countless explanations and practices, in their interaction with these forces. Joseph Campbell, in “The Power of the Myth,” tracks the history of how all of these ideologies came to fruition, and has been the basis for many of the dramatic elements in powerful films, including Star Wars.
George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, conceived of “The Force” as a metaphysical and spiritual concept within the Star Wars universe. It is a fundamental energy field that permeates all living things and binds the galaxy together. The Force is described as an energy that can be harnessed and manipulated by those who are sensitive to it, known as Force-users or Force-sensitive beings.
Lucas intended The Force to be a representation of a universal power that exists beyond the physical realm. It is a combination of different philosophical and mythological ideas, drawing inspiration from various religious and spiritual traditions, including Taoism, Buddhism, and Christianity.
In interviews, Lucas has described The Force as an embodiment of the interconnectedness of life, the balance between light and dark, and the power of personal choices. It represents the cosmic energy that flows through all living beings, connecting them to each other and to the larger universe. The Jedi and the Sith, two opposing factions in the Star Wars universe, have different interpretations and uses of The Force, with the Jedi seeking harmony and selflessness while the Sith pursue power and domination.
Overall, George Lucas intended The Force to be a unifying concept that explores the deeper aspects of existence, morality, and the potential for personal growth and self-discovery. It serves as a central theme throughout the Star Wars saga, shaping the characters, their motivations, and the conflicts they face.
In the course of our working to navigate our place in the higher order of things, we eventually come to a moment in which we start to recognize or witness how and/or why such an energy interaction is present.
When we are in our own private, silent space, our ability to leverage these energies to our greater benefit, becomes all the more apparent and accessible.
How is it that we are so out of tune with something that is so pertinent to our overall existence? Is this something that is entirely learned? Or is it possible that it is always within us and we must learn to metaphorically find the frequency with which to tune it in?
When you are having moments of fear, or doubt, you are best served going deep within and finding the endless reservoir of energy that resides in the higher order of life.
Happy Tuesday!
