Shyness can be incredibly debilitating. I have found myself to be shy most of my life.
Learning to navigate your way past the shy moment is sometimes far more difficult than those who are extroverted may imagine.
I first heard this song in a movie by Hal Ashby called Harold and Maude. If you have seen the movie, it is the song that plays over the final scene and closing credits.
Having been a been a fan of Cat’s music for so many years prior to the film’s release, I was both overjoyed to find his music used throughout and even more delighted to find this track that was not on any of the albums that I had at that time.
In moments of doubt, fear, shyness and trepidation, this song has lifted my spirits and elevated me to safe harbor on many an occasion.
