There’s nothing I choose to say about Christmas that Frank Capra did not already more eloquently express in “It’s A Wonderful Life.” To this day, George Bailey remains my most favorite of all protagonists!

No man is a failure who has friends.

Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn’t know you left open.

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

How to stop time: kiss. How to travel in time: read. How to escape time: music. How to feel time: write. How to release time: breathe.

Nothing is so strong as gentleness. Nothing so gentle as real strength.

Life is incredibly fragile on its best days.

The person who does more than what they are paid for, will soon be paid for more than what they do.

Not every “sorry” deserves an “it’s OK,” in return.

Experience is one thing you can’t get for nothing.

Make others like themselves a little better and they’ll like you very much.

Love is but the discovery of ourselves in others, and the delight in that recognition.
