The Greatest Gift You Can Give Another Person Is Your Believe In Them.

Can you remember some of the moments from your childhood when a parent or teacher or sibling or employer or relative or a coach infused you with incredible power by letting you know that they saw something special in you? I bet you can if you take a minute and really think about it.

In that tiny moment of communication, one of life‘s most magical transferences of power took place. A suggestion was placed in your brain that validated your worthiness to accelerate.

How simple. Almost divine. And yet so easily communicated.

The opportunity to infuse another human being with your belief in them exists continually in your world. Sometimes you might be thinking it, but you don’t take the time to share it. Change that. It’s very simple. You know you’re thinking it. Make the extra effort and communicate the way you feel because the receiving party is galvanized as a result of a genuine compliment.

Life is fraught with so many moments of confusion, apprehension, fear and anxiety. Why not go the extra mile to enable another human being to feel with that extra support and validation that the work and effort that they are putting in is well worth it?

As a moment of gratitude to launch your new week, perhaps this morning is a good time to first reflect on a few of the people who catapulted you to where you are today with their genuine praise and then go the extra mile and find someone in your life who deserves your genuine praise and let them know that you see how well they are doing. It takes but a minute but for the recipient…as you have just reflected, could last a lifetime❤️

It’s a beautiful Monday here in California, hoping yours is the same?

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
