Living life with everything you’ve got is a daily practice. We are so accustomed to our daily rituals, we often times find ourselves going from circumstance to circumstance in almost a trance. Waking up and recognizing that every day is precious and every day that is wasted is a valuable resource that we have potentially squandered in the course of operating within a trance, is one of the most valuable lessons that I have happened upon in the course of my explorations.

A day need not be marked by massive accomplishment or over the top experiences for it to be relevant, it only need be recognized for the incredible asset that it is and put to use in a way that leaves one feeling fulfilled.

Sometimes, the incredible value in a day can come from the tiniest of variables. It can come from the look of appreciation that comes from someone or some thing that one loves or admires, it could come from artistic satisfaction, an accomplishment that has been reached or any form of personal satisfaction. Seeing something of beauty or listening to something of beauty is always a great stimuli.

In this shutdown world of Covid that we have been enduring, finding those precious stimulating resources becomes all the more important so that one does not feel that all one is doing is marking time on the calendar.

It is a beautiful Saturday and that in and of itself is cause to cherish the moment, find that stimuli that leaves you elated and take the time to help create that stimuli in someone else’s existence.

I hope you have a wonderful day!!😊😊

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
