Wake up every morning with the thought that something wonderful is going to happen.

Wake up every morning with the thought that something wonderful is going to happen.
What wonderful thing is going to happen in your world today?
Do you wake up with an expectation that something of magnitude is going to positively impact your life every day? Do you think it’s unrealistic to wake up every day with this expectation? Is it potentially setting yourself up for a disappointment when some days are nowhere near as luminous as others? When you wake up with such an expectation and life does not deliver on that magnitude are you left feeling disappointed in its wake?
If you are living the life of a creative soul, your world depends on wonderful things happening daily. Some days they truly do and others, not so much. If you paint your mental canvas with the expectation of such, is it possible that you are fueling the fire needed to conjure such opportunities?
All of these thought processes are important in the course of trying to build a life of opportunity. If we are not wide open to the prospect that something is ready to go in our favor, is it possible that we are not metaphorically priming the pump for this to happen?
Is everything preordained in fate or destiny, such that it doesn’t matter what we think? Will things happen or not happen to us, either way?
Trying to navigate our way through that which we understand and that which we collectively believe we understand, is an important component in our overall success matrix. One might argue that all of it is outside of our control and therefore all of the philosophy that is expressed here is just New Age woo woo garbage. But I would argue differently because it can’t be New Age, given that Buddha was talking about these things thousands of years ago… so does that make it Old Age woo woo garbage? Or is it possible, that enough human beings have come along and discussed these variables and helped to identify the components of what is working and what is not?
If we continue to act and believe in a manner that is conducive to expectations of positive outcomes, even on the most subtle of levels, our vibrational energy reflects our positivity and attracts more positive things.
If this sounds dubious to you, watch what happens with dogs who meet each other for the first time. The dogs who are wagging their tails, with the tail high in the air, are projecting positive energy, and the other dog senses this energy and gravitates towards them… whereas a dog that is showing its teeth with its tail firmly between its legs is putting negative energy out to the other animal and putting it on guard.
Humans do very similar things with our smiles, our friendly communication, handshakes, fist bumps, hugs, and everything else that we learn to use in our relationships.
When we practice the art of positivity, the world senses this, and we attract wonderful things into our world. Wake up and paint your life canvas with eternal sunshine and watch how everything blossoms as a result.
Happy Tuesday!
