What Are We… A Soul With A Body, Or A Body With A Soul?

Cerebral Saturday.

What are we?

Are we trillions of DNA strands manifesting into complex organisms that have evolved over the millennia out of the primal ooze?

Are we celestial beings traveling in a three dimensional corpal vessel?

Are we a recurring being that reincarnates lifetime after lifetime with some higher set of lessons that we are learning?

Are we all part of source? Everything made from the same Stardust? When our corporal vessel dies and returns back to dust, are we just assimilated?

Are we divine beings made by a divinity that watches over us with hope, expectation and judgment so that we may pave our way into eternity in either a heaven or hell?

Are we a freak of nature, manifesting solely as a result of water forming on this particular speck of dust in this particular corner of the galaxy in this particular corner of the universe?

I don’t think anybody has the answer, but I love talking about this with people because the responses are so disparate, I seem to learn so many things as people share their perspectives on this particular topic.

When I started practicing getting in touch with my awareness which allowed me to watch my own mind and calm it when it is running amok, that is when I started feeling more as if perhaps I were a soul inside of a corporal vessel.

One of the best responses I have ever received to this question was: The meaning of life is to participate fully in the play, all the while knowing you’re sitting in the audience.

✨Who knows? ✨What do you think? ✨

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
