When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

As our nation embraces the recovery act and the proliferation of solutions to the virus, a wave of compassion is potentially spreading across the country. With relief packages designed to help the lower echelons of society, combined with solutions to help the countless businesses whose world has been turned upside down as a result of this pandemic, the first glimmer of significant hope is on the horizon.

Even those who did not vote for the bill, are reporting back to their constituents that help is on the way.

A lot of the conflict that transpires in our country stems from the ignorance that is intentionally bestowed upon the public at large. Regardless of ideology, the coronavirus is a non-partisan killer and it has devastated the lives of everyone I know.

I hope that as we potentially turn the corner and start to return to a new normal, that we are fortunate to discover a deeper bond between the citizens of this country. Recognition that we need each other to make a strong economy could potentially bridge some of the partisan insanity that has grown to separate significant portions of our society and thereby allow some degree of healing to facilitate a rebirth of life inside the United States and globally. After the plague in Europe, came the Renaissance.

There is a day of reckoning for ignorant people who believe that Caucasians own the United States and that everybody else is just trespassing. The corporate titans who control large volumes of politicians and judges are working around the clock to thwart these forms of progress. The bills in state legislature to suppress voter turnout is in full force, with every expectation of destroying any progress we can make over the next two years.

I believe in the perspective that Jimi Hendrix shares above. At some point, love conquers all. At some point, compassion is a true force to be reckoned with, and in many cases proves to be indomitable.

Only through love and communication does the potential for humanity to thrive exist. It is on our shoulders to carry this responsibility and promote it on a personal, local, national and global basis. I hope this beautiful Friday leads you into a very exciting weekend!🌞🌈🌟🥂

Jimi Hendrix loved our country. Here is one of his greatest contributions:

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
