When you like a flower, you just pluck it. But when you love a flower, you water it daily.

The subtleties between loving and liking are often times blended.
Finding the distinction within ourselves gives us fortitude to move forward with complete confidence that we are 100% in tune with our internal desire.
Collecting trinkets is the pastime of a smaller mind, while finding the time to stimulate others can be far more fulfilling. No different than planting flowers seeds and watching them bloom.
There is nothing tangible in the pursuit, only the warmth of knowing you have touched another soul in a unique way. You cannot cash it in at the bank. You cannot store it away for a rainy day. You can only hold the internal solace that perhaps on some level you made a difference.
And on the rare occasions when you witness the difference that you were party to stimulating, you can quietly celebrate that perhaps your time on planet Earth is coming to greater fruition.
Happy Tuesdayđ
