You have this one life. How do you want to spend it?

Apologizing? Regretting? Questioning? Hating yourself?

Dieting? Running after people who don’t see you?

Be brave. Believe in yourself. Do what feels good.

Take risks. You have this one life. Make yourself proud.

Are you living your life to its fullest?

Given that you have only one turn in this lifetime, are you stretching your boundaries far beyond anything that you thought was possible? Or are you living a life of drudgery, expecting that tomorrow will finally be different?

Are you making time for that extra trip?

Are you pursuing something that others might raise an eyebrow in response to, but for you, it makes your heart race just a little bit faster?

Do you have aspirations that make you want to kick your heels out of bed every single day and feel joyful that you are alive and that you have these opportunities at your disposal?

There are so many important pieces to the puzzle, and we need to understand them and see them for what they are so that we might do our very best at leveraging everything within our power to bring each and everyone of them to fruition as best as we may.

Life is a continuous challenge, fraught with unforeseen events and variables, each of which are capable of derailing our biggest dreams and nullifying our greatest desires.

The consistent variable in every aspect of our being is our continual commitment to ourselves, such that we are ensuring that we are growing and evolving in the best of ways, day by day.

Our lives are so precious, and the rewards of finding a way to live a life saturated with so many of your most important hopes and dreams fulfilled, could not be more relevant, nor more important.

If you are encountering tiny glimmers of tempting pursuits, are you listening carefully to what your internal being is trying to communicate? And if so, are you taking note and working to see whether or not you might have those components within you that are ready and susceptible to growth?

You only get one chance, make the very most of it that you possibly can!

Happy Tuesday!

When I was 5 years old, I discovered that the lemon tree in the backyard + dixie cups + water and sugar and I was in business. I have been hooked on that ever since. In 1979, I borrowed $14,000 to create a brand new product... photographic greeting cards with no text on the inside, called Paradise Photography. That was the start of The Illusion Factory. Since then, The Illusion Factory has been entrusted by all of the major studios and broadcasters with the advertising and marketing of over $7 billion in filmed, live, broadcast, gaming, AR, VR and regulated gaming forms of entertainment, generating more than $100 Billion in revenue and 265 awards for creativity and technology for our clients. When I took a break from film school at UCLA to move to Hawaii, my mother did not lecture me. Instead, she took 150 of her favorite aphorisms and in her beautiful calligraphy, wrote them artistically throughout a blank journal. That is the origin of the Lessons from the Mountain series. Since then, on my journeys to the top of a mountain to watch the sunrise, I have spent countless hours contemplating words of wisdom from the sages of all races, genders and political persuasions, constantly accumulating the thoughts to guide me on my life path. I hope you enjoy my books. Please let me know your thoughts, as I highly value your feedback!
